The quality of the design of our products and the materials used to manufacture them are outstanding. As is their long life: we guarantee that spare parts will be available for up to 10 years after production of an item finishes.
Why? Because ensuring a long life for our products means savings for our customers and savings in production. And both are important.

PROFILTEK embeds
its Sustainable Development Plan

PROFILTEK is implementing a sustainable development plan to promote clean energy and responsible use of resources. The plan brings together a number of measures taken by the firm to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UN in its Agenda 2030, which provides a framework for action over the long term to which we have linked our plan.

The existing measures adopted by PROFILTEK to reduce its environmental impact and so promote responsible consumption include:

  • Clean energy. All the energy to supply our facilities comes from 100% renewable sources that respect the environment and reduce emissions of CO2 and other polluting gases.
  • On-site photovoltaic installation and a centralised system to monitoring production processes to optimise energy use.
  • Industrial synergies:
    • Energy saving: One of the most important measures is the use of energy from 100% renewable sources, which is environmentally friendly and reduces emissions of CO2 and other polluting gases. We use 100% renewable energy, optimising processes.
    • Water cycle: we manage production processes to reuse water.
    • Zero waste: we recycle 100% of the waste generated in our industrial and business processes.
  • 100% cardboard packaging.
  • Certification under ISO 14006: Environmental management of the design and development process. Eco-friendly design. "We are convinced that design is not about aesthetics and functionality alone, but also about efficiency and sustainability."
  • Transport: Fleet of space-optimised lorries and hybrid business vehicles. Logistics warehouses locally situated, to optimise routes and use of space in transport. Smaller carbon footprint in a product's life cycle.
  • Sustainable responsible use of resources. At PROFILTEK we design and manufacture partitions that are long-lasting, which means efficiency and sustainability for our local environment and economic efficiency for our customers.
  • Social Responsibility. Our business and our staff form part of the wider community society to which we offer our products. We do not offshore to reduce costs or taxes, but we work here, with local people, and we pay taxes here to make a positive contribution to society.
  • ECO resin in our entire range of shower trays with 20% recycled PET from recycled plastic bottles.
  • Equality plan. At PROFILTEK we have adopted monitoring to ensure that there is no discrimination or unequal treatment on the basis of sex, race or religion.
