CERTIFIED QUALITY
We use the highest standards of quality in manufacturing our products, ensuring their durability and strength. A goal we meet with validation of all our enclosures by international standard EN 14428:2005, a specific standard for shower enclosures which tests both product components and final product in usage conditions, and durability and cleaning over time.
By complying with the requirements of this standard PROFILTEK enclosures have obtained CE marking, key for fully meeting the service requirements of the end user. Moreover, our commitment to quality is confirmed year after year by maintaining our ISO 9001:2008 quality system certification.
OWN QUALITY CONTROL LABORATORY
We have our own Quality Control laboratory where we carry out parts testing:
- Corrosion testing.
- Opening cycles.
- Salt spray test on each batch of metal and plastic parts. 220 hours.
- Periodic testing of wetting and drying cycles for all parts. 50 cycles, test duration 1 month.
- Periodic runner endurance testing. 20,000 cycles.
- Annual testing of chemical agents on all parts.
- Annual testing of water-tightness on each enclosure model.
- Quarterly testing of Teknoclean endurance. 2000 abrasion cycles.

PROFILTEK wishes to keep dealers and users informed about the standards and certifications that shower enclosure manufacturers are legally bound to comply with; documents that demonstrate and guarantee compliance with the standards required for marketed products purchased by customers.
These documents must be requested from manufacturers to prevent the occurrence of serious risks that can be caused by selling non-approved materials and products. PROFILTEK warns that for complete safety, enclosures must always have CE marking as a key element for fully meeting safety and quality requirements..
